You are currently visiting the home page of the Holy Cross and St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. It is our pleasure to introduce ourselves to you via the internet. Our website provides essential information about our parish, the upcoming events, our congregation’s life and services schedule.

Our community welcomes old and new members, visitors and pious Orthodox pilgrims and invites you for common prayer every Sunday and all major Feasts. Take into consideration that children and youth have the possibility to attend our Sunday Catechedtical School and the Greek Heritage School, while teenagers and adults may join our Religious and Bible Studies Class.

I also urge all orthodox people of good will to become members of our parish, or to renew your membership, to bring your ideas and actively participate in our congregation’s life, to join our Phyloptochos (charitable women organization) and the Parish Board. As well, volunteer help at our parish events would be greatly appreciated. Foremost, I call upon the youth and young people to join our Church and to find your place in Christ’s vineyard.
